아티스트 중의 한사람이다.
1970년대 미국으로 건너가 당시로서는 파격적인 피아노
연주와 강렬한 스테이지 매너, 그리고 화려한 의상 등으로 단숨에
스타덤에 오른 그는 70년대를 통틀어 가장 성공적인 아티스트로
대서양 양쪽의 대륙에서 자리매김했다.

그의 단짝인 야마하 그랜드 피아노, 그리고 이 피아노맨과 길게는
30여년을 같이 연주해 온 8명의 밴드가 함께 작년 9월 최초로 내한
